Famed locally for its wonderful Carvery, customers will find hearty food on menus boasting meals for all tastes, with servings at lunchtimes and evenings seven days a week. Drinkers are offered a fine selection of real ales, beers, wines & soft-drinks - with the pub area retaining a wonderfully traditional feel to enjoy a quick drink in with friends or family.

 

As experts in events with the personal touch, The Flying Fortress regularly cater for large  parties in our spacious function room - the Castle Suite - including Wedding Receptions, Birthdays, Wakes, Christenings & Christmas Parties. Local businesses also choose the venue for Conferences, Training Seminars,  and Community Events, with a size of room to suit most sizes of group at competitive prices. 

There is also a Beer Garden and Children's Play-Area outside of the Pub, and the inside homes a whole host of World War II Memorabilia that is worth the visit alone!
